Chick, Chick, Hooray for a Craft!!!

Hello again and welcome to Make-It Monday!!

Today I'll be showing you an "egg-cellent" chick craft to do with your class!!!

Bunnies, eggs, and chicks are coming our way so you will not regret checking this post!!

My class did this craft to decorate their non-fiction facts about chicks. There are wayyyy many different ways for you to use this craft; some could be a fact sheet with facts about chicken (like I did with mine), can/have/are chart, life cycle of a chicken, or even a fiction story about a chick.

My students were reading independently different books about chicken and they started to take their own notes on facts they thought they were interesting or even facts about chicken that they didn't know about. Here are some examples of what my students did:

I used scrapbook paper for the egg, but you could also use just regular white construction paper and leave it blank or have your students decorate as they want so they can use their creativity.

I hope you could use this quick, easy, and not-so-expensive craft with your students to bring some color and fun into your classroom!! :)

Than you so much for stopping by today!!
